NEWS:
FEBRUARY 2003
DENVER - The Human
Rights Campaign envisions an America where lesbian and
gay people are ensured of their basic equal rights -
and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work, and
in the community. Each year at the Colorado Human
Rights Campaign Dinner, a person is acknowledged with
the presentation of the PAUL HUNTER AWARD. Conceived
in 1993, the award was named for Paul Hunter, a gay
activist who, through his two decades of work for the
community, was instrumental in creating positive
social change in Colorado. Paul died of AIDS related
causes in October 1991. For additional
information, visit the Colorado
HRC Website.
